12 stopsA solo road trip from Sweden with one goal: reach China by road. Retracing the Sweden to Afghanistan route through Eastern Europe and the Balkans, then crossing into Azerbaijan and taking a ferry across the Caspian Sea into Kazakhstan.
The journey continued through Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, before Chinese visa rejections forced a detour into Kyrgyzstan for a second attempt — which also failed. A broken Volvo ended the mission; the car was transported home and the trip ended there.
